Mustard Stuffed Pork Fillet

450g pork fillet $5.40
1 tablespoon butter $0.10
1/2 tablespoon maple syrup $0.30
1/4 tablespoon dry sage $0.01
1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard $0.10

BUTCHERS METHOD:
Preparation time 5 minutes

  1. Take a pork fillet and trim off excess fat.
  2. Cut 4 slits diagonally along the top of the pork fillet around ½ the depth of the fillet.
  3. Mix up butter mixture and fill each slit with the mustard butter.
  4. Display on a white tray with butter exposed out of slits.

 

CUSTOMER COOKING INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Preheat oven at 180 degrees, fan forced
  2. Bring the product to room temperature (take out of fridge 2 hours prior to cooking)
  3. Cook the product in foil for 25 minutes
  4. Open foil and let it cook for an extra 5 minutes to brown
  5. Rest it in foil for 5 minutes
  6. Slice the pork fillet and serve with melted butter as a glaze
