Pork Lollypop Lamingtons

Equipment

  • Mixing bowl
  • Paddle pop sticks or
  • Wooden forks (these are bigger and stronger to hold the mince)

Ingredients

  • 800g pork mince
  • 2 tsp (10g) garlic powder
  • 1 tsp (5g) coriander powder
  • 5 tbs (100ml) oyster sauce
  • 2 tbs (40ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tsp (5g) salt
  • 1 tsp (5g) sugar
  • 1 egg
  • Pink or white pepper
  • Shredded coconut

Method

  1. 1.
    In a mixing bowl combine the pork mince and all the ingredients except the shredded coconut and mix through.
  2. 2.
    Once mixed divide the mince into 100g portions and press out with burger press or shape with hands.
  3. 3.
    Once shape is formed, coat the mince with shredded coconut.
  4. 4.
    Insert paddle pop stick or wooden fork into mince to create a lollypop.

General Information

Consumer Cooking Instructions 



  1. Heat coconut oil or oil of choice in pan, once oil is hot cook lollypops.

  2. The lollypops should be ready once the coconut is golden.


OR Cook in oven.



  1. Preheat oven to 160◦C Fan forced or 180◦C conventional.

  2. Spray or coat an oven tray with coconut oil or oil of choice, place the lollypops into the oven tray.

  3. Cook for 25 – 30 minutes, or until meat is cooked through and coconut looks crunchy.
