Vietnamese-style pork chops

Ingredients

  • 4 (approx. 250g each) pork loin chops, rind off

Vietnamese marinade

  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 2 small red chilli, deseeded and finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon fish sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil

Method

    Combine all marinade ingredients well and pour over chops.

    1. Pre-heat a greased grill or barbecue on a medium heat.

    2. Add pork and cook for 8-10 minutes or until just cooked through. Transfer to a plate, cover and set aside to rest for 5 minutes.




Hint: serve pork with salad, peanuts, steamed Jasmine rice and lime wedges
